2010 – Opening of Ansaldo Thomassen Gulf in Abu Dhabi (U.A.E)
2008 – Launch of new name for Thomassen Turbine Systems: Ansaldo Thomassen.
2007 – OSP™ trademark registred and launched at Powergen Europe in Madrid.
2006 – Ansaldo Energia, a Finmeccanica Company, purchase of Thomassen Turbine Systems.
2006 – Thomassen Turbine Systems celebrates its 100-years anniversary.
1999 – Establishment of BBP Turbine Services bv; former Heavy Duty Turbine Services Division of Thomassen International bv – Sole shareholder Babcock Borsig Power Service GmbH.

Thomassen International period

1996 – Thomassen International signs new Business Associate Agreement with General Electric for manufacture of Steam Turbines rated up to 150 MW.
1994 – Start of take-over of Thomassen International by Deutsche Babcock AG.
1989 – Joint venture between Thomassen Stewart and Stevenson International (TSSI) was founded; GE-type Aeroderivative Gas Turbines in the range 13 – 50 MW.
1968 – Start of building General Electric design Gas Turbines, produced under a Manufacturing Associate agreement with General Electric.
1922 – Transfer of company from Arnhem to Rheden
1906 – Foundation of NV Motoren en Machinefabriek V/H Thomassen & Co.
1896 – Thomassen started the production of his own designed gas engines.
1883 – Geurt Thomassen started a small workshop in Arnhem specializing in tools for the production of mill-stones and other windmill equipment.
